SFS - Houston First Baptist

In Zambia, the COVID-19 crisis is creating a serious economic impact for the country and a unique food supply issue for Family Legacy’s ministry there. Now more than ever, it is important that the daily meals we provide at our schools remain constant for the 14,000 vulnerable and orphaned children we serve.
To ensure this, you can help by donating to our Students Helping Students (at Home) Meal Packing event sponsored by Houston First Baptist Church – Cypress the week of July 13th-16th as we literally pack 50,000 meals for these children!

Here’s how we are going to do this…. 25 of our church’s families will be selected to come by our campus to pick up a customized assortment of bulk food, vitamins and meal packing supplies sufficient to assemble and box 2,000 meals at their homes in about a 2-hour span of time. Then they’ll bring the boxed meals and packing supplies back to the church for palletizing, collecting and shipping via containers to Zambia where they will be distributed through our schools to the students.

Our goal to pack 50,000 meals costs $15,000 which is only 30 cents a meal.

Houston First Baptist Church - Cypress has graciously agreed to match dollar for dollar up to $7,500. (The funding graph on the right includes the amount that the church has agreed to match).

By helping us raise the remaining $7,500, you can help us reach our goal and bless a child and their family in Zambia, Africa.

Thanks very much for considering a donation to reach this goal.
