We believe in God’s potential for children who get overlooked. That is why we follow the Lord's example to provide vulnerable children with healing and nourishment alongside our deep discipleship. Here are some of our favorite ways to do that:
Increasing Their Medical Access
Today
Every Legacy Academy and Tree of Life student has access to medical care through the Hill Wellness Center, school medical bays, preventive screenings, home visits, treatment, and referrals for advanced care.
Tomorrow, with support
We aim to bring medical care closer to every child by increasing preventive check-ins, strengthening referral pathways, and expanding reliable patient transportation and emergency response.
Feeding Their Bodies
Today
Students receive a nutritious lunch each school day, while children experiencing malnutrition are identified, monitored, and provided with supplemental nutrition, treatment, or referrals based on their needs.
Tomorrow, with support
We want to provide even more nutrition support throughout the year through regular assessments, additional food packs for the most vulnerable families, caregiver education, and protein-rich school breakfasts, helping reduce malnutrition rates drastically.
Making Their World Cleaner
Today
Our medical and school teams help protect children from illnesses associated with unsafe water and poor hygiene.
Tomorrow, with support
We seek to strengthen every school’s readiness for disease outbreaks by increasing water testing and treatment, purchasing outbreak-ready hygiene supplies, and equipping schools with the resources needed to respond quickly and effectively.
